Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
The resource will be for DBA positoin to support our R&D team in Bangalore. His responsibilities will be Oracle DBA, performance tuning, setting up EMC SAN storage.

Requirements:-
Worked as Database administrator for Oracle 9i and 10G
- Strong on pl/sql
- Knowledge and experience on storage. (SAN)
- Experience on performance tuning of the Oracle databases.
- Experience on setting up the fail over and replication of databases.
- Experience on data migration from one database to other databases.
- Experience on setting up the large databases. Involves in the platform design for the Oracle databases.
- Experience on Linux operating system as well.
- RDBMS schema design, PL-SQL, writing complex queries using joins
- Triggers/stored procedure/functions/tuning sql queries/ db objects
- Database concepts like transactions and database normalization forms
- Identifying bottlenecks by analysis of query plans
- Preferably has worked with Oracle
