Roles and Responsibilities
Required Skills: 3+ years of SQL dba experience
Responsibilities:
Maintaining SQL Servers with different environments (Dev and Production)
Performing Backup and Transaction Log Backup
Performing Backup restore and Database integrity Checks.
Check the Windows NT Event Viewer for error messages.
Database and Log File Maintenance and monitoring the growth
Checking SQL Server jobs for failures.
Checking SQL Server logs for error messages.
Managing, Monitoring and Troubleshooting SQL Server Databases
Troubleshooting the low drive space issues
Shrinking the database and Log files.
Managing, Monitoring and Troubleshooting SQL Server Databases.
Handling Locking and Blocking and Automating Administrative Tasks
Perform DBCC CHECKDB on all restored system and Production databases.
Creating and Maintaining the users and roles and client connections
Working with DTS to transfer the data from one source to another based on the Requests.
